Biography

Abraham was baptized in the Reformed Dutch Church of New York on 25 May 1718, recorded as the child of Jan de Graaf and Marijtje de Graaf. Witnesses were Harmen Bussing and Sara Bussing.[1]

Marriage: Abraham was married to Maretjen Van Wagoner, daughter of Evert Van Wagoner, b. 12 April 1684, and Hillegond Janesen, baptized 14 November 1686; Evert and Hillegond were married in 1709 and moved from Duchess County to Poughkeepsie.[2]
